Shipping policy

SHIPPING TIMES:

Orders are shipped 1-3 business days after it is placed.  I participate in weekend craft shows, so I may already have a completed item for your order. If I encounter a delay in my supplies to make your order, you will be notified and given the option to cancel or proceed with a new shipping date. I try to purchase my supplies from other small businesses, and sometimes delays are inevitable.

USPS First Class Package (uninsured)

  • Lost, stolen or misdelivered packages: Midwest Hobby House is not responsible for lost, misdelivered or stolen packages. Please reach out to your carrier and ask them to do a GPS locate to get the specifics on the delivery.  If your package is returned to us due to it be undeliverable, we will verify the address with you and resend at your expense. 

USPS Priority Mail (Insured)

  • Lost, Misdelivered or stolen packages: Please contact us so we can file a claim with USPS. When the claim has been approved, we will either refund you or remake the item(s) that were sent. 

  • Return-to-sender: If we receive a returned package, we will verify the address and resend at an additional shipping charge. We are unable to refund returned items due to being undeliverable. 

  • Delivered: If USPS stated your package was left with a resident of the home/apartment, it is unlikely a claim can be filed.

UPS Ground & 2 Day Air

  • Lost, stolen or misdelivered packages: Please contact us so we can get a claim filed with the shipping carrier. When the claim has been approved, we will either refund you or remake the item(s) that were sent. 

  • Return-to-sender: If we receive a returned package, we will verify the address and resend at an additional shipping charge. We are unable to refund returned items due to being undeliverable.
